Measure before you shop

Keep the measurements requested by the manufacturer close at hand when comparing products. Different items may need different measurements, so follow the specific measuring guide for the bed, carrier, coat or harness you are considering. Also measure the space where larger items will be used or stored.

Compare the chart, not just the label

Size names are not interchangeable between brands. Compare the measurements on the product page with your notes and check which dimensions refer to the animal and which refer to the finished item.

Ask when the fit is unclear

Do not assume that a larger size is always suitable. Follow the manufacturer’s fitting instructions and contact the seller if you fall between sizes or cannot find the information you need. Check the return conditions before ordering.
